Watercolor Painting for beginners


You need the following for you to begin.

Buy a round or flat sable water color painting brush.

A 12 set of water color paints comes in handy for a beginner. Most sets have a good selection of basic colors, in most cases are tube(paste) or cake (dry). If u prefer tubes, pre-packed tubes will give you a good starter selection.

• Paper

Paper

You can use any watercolor drawing pad, block or loose paper, with a weight of 140grams thickness or higher, the heavier the paper the less likely you are going to deal with damp paper while painting.

• Palette

Palette
Cake paints have in-built reusable palette. A palette makes up for less wastage of paint and more convenience.

• Water
Water

Tap clean water is fine, but not hard water. Hard water decreases paint solubility and paint flow.
